TDL- 7.13

The Divine Legacy- 7.13

Mornin' Derrick. I just took a shower and my hair is driving me crazy. You sims are lucky, you're hair doesn't get all wet when you swim and stuff.

There goes Sabrina, off to earn money. I really don't know what to do with this $500 dollars they have. It's amazing. Usually I'm frustrated because the bills will come and they're $50 short. Also, I'm amazed by how little their bills are. At the last Divine house, they were like $1,000 or something, now they're only $200. I get you get what you pay for.

There go the boys.
Derrick: "She looks weird."
Justin: "I know. I think she should lose the hat."
Derrick: "Yeah, but what if she's bald underneath?"
Justin: "Ewwwwwwww."

Well, Apollo. You officially have the house all to yourself.
Apollo: "It's too quiet."
Then go do something!

What does he do? Work out. I sat here watching him of fast forward mode for a few minutes. By the time he was fatigued Sabrina was on her way home.

Did you get a promotion?
Sabrina: "No."
You need a promotion!
Sabrina: "You don't even know what to do with the money we have!"
So? If you got some more money I could buy you a car!
Sabrina: "I don't want a car."
BUT I WANT YOU TO HAVE A CAR!

Hey, look who got on a different bus with a strange child.
Derrick: "This is Lenny. He's my friend."
What? You made a friend on the first day?
Derrick: "Yep."
So you're not going to be like your brother! WOOOO!

Timeout... is that... is that... IS THAT  A FRIEND?
Justin: "Yep, his name is Laurence."
Congrats, Justin! You've made a friend!

Justin and Laurence played tag. Laurence is good at running in heels. Better than I am, at least.

Meanwhile, at Lenny's house, Derrick did his homework all alone in their living room.

Sabrina: "Hey, I'm home!"
Apollo: -turns away-
Sabrina: "You're not still mad at me, are you?"
Apollo: -walks off-
Sabrina: "Seriously?!?"

Then her phone rang.
Sabrina: "Hello? Oh, hello! Ummm... okay. Yeah, I'll be at work tomorrow. Sounds good. Goodbye!"
Who was that?
Sabrina: "Somebody from work. We're having a party at work tomorrow."
For what?
Sabrina: "I don't know, but I'm suppose to help decorate."

Luke: "And then he ran into a wall!"
Derrick: "Ouch!"
Luke: "Yeah! He was crying and everything!"
Uh.. Derrick? Where's the kid you rode here with?"
Derrick: "I don't know, but his brother's cool."
Luke: "Yeah, Lenny's a loser."

Eventually Derrick went home. Laurence went home around the same time.
Derrick: "Waffles for dinner again?"
Yep. Waffles and cake is all you people ever eat.

Justin: "Dangit, I forgot to do my homework."
I guess you'll be up all night getting it done, then.
Justin: "I'm tired!"
That sucks.

Derrick: "Goodnight!"
Justin: "I'm not doing this. I'm just going to go to bed."
Alright, maybe you can do it in the morning.
Justin: "Yep."

And that's it. I need to get a bandaid on my thumb. >.<

TDL- 7.12

The Divine Legacy- 7.12

Good morning Sabrina, we have a busy day ahead of us!

First off, we lose our last toddler to the dreaded birthday cake. We trade him in for a child today. Unfortunately, the ghosts are up and about. That means they're gonna hog the cake.

Here we have Derrick Divine. He got the brave trait. His other two traits are heavy sleeper and the one I can't remember. Dangit, I thought I had them this time. v_v

Have fun at school, child.
Justin: "I probably won't."
Don't be so pessimistic.
Justin: "Don't be so unrealistic."
I'm just telling you to have fun, jeez.

Derrick didn't have to go to school, but he had homework for some reason. Weird.

Derrick: "Dad, this stuff's hard."
Apollo: -eating cake- "Mhmmm"
Derrick: "Can you help me?:
Apollo: -shakes head-
Derrick: "Fine, be that way."

Apollo: "Get your swimming trunks."
Derrick: "Why?"
Apollo: "Why? Because I'm gonna slap you with them!"
Derrick: O_O
Apollo: "Nobody around here can take a joke. We're going swimming, why else would you need swimming trunks?"
Derrick: "To get slapped with them...??"
Apollo: "Just go get them before I leave you here alone."
Simaya: You wouldn't leave him!
Apollo: "Don't try me, May."
Derrick: "May?"
Apollo: "Just get your swimming trunks!"

Apollo: "Alright, well, this is a beach."
Derrick: "Cool, can we go home now?"
Apollo: "Nope, we're going to spend the day here."
Derrick: "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww,"
Apollo: "Seriously? You'd rather be locked up in that shack?"
Derrick: "Yes."

Apollo decided to stop arguing with him and went swimming. Derrick decided to go play chess. I guess he's getting a tan while earning brain cells....

Well, look who's finally home.
Sabrina: "I got promoted!"
More money! Yay!

Sabrina: "Uh... where is everyone?"
Well, Apollo and Derrick are at the beach and Justin's at school.
Sabrina: "So I'm alone?"
Yes.
Sabrina: "That's amazing. I will now work on taking over the world!"
I thought you gave up on that.
Sabrina: "It's an addiction."

Well, Justin hot home an hour later.
Sabrina: -reading book about taking over the world- "How was school?"
Justin: "Okay...."
Sabrina: "That's great, how are your friends?"
Justin: "Still nonexistent or inanimate objects...."
Sabrina: "Cool."
Justin: "You're not listening, are you?"
Sabrina: "That's awesome!"
Justin: "Yeah, that's what I thought. I think I'll go cry in my room later. After doing homework. I don't like school. Can I just not go?"
Sabrina: -looks up from book- "What?"
Justin: "Nothing, just homework."

Well, Apollo and Derrick went home.
Sabrina: "How was the beach?"
Apollo: "Alright..."
Sabrina: "Maybe next time I can go with you. I look pretty sexy in a bikini, you know."

Apollo: "Seriously, Sabrina? I've already told you about this!"
Sabrina: "Can't you at least pretend to like me, it's not like it's going to change anything!"
Apollo: "Maybe for you! I kinda have a life to get back to!"
Sabrina: "So? They don't have to know. Who's gonna tell them?"
Apollo: "That's not the point! I don't like you!"

Derrick: "Are they always like this?"
Justin: -yawns- "What?"
Derrick: "Mom and Dad. Are they always like that?"
Justin: "No, most of the time they ignore eachother."
Derrick: "Oh."
Justin: "Yeah, it's best to go to bed when they start fighting."
Derrick: "To bed, then."
Justin: "Race you up the stairs." -takes off running-
Derrick: "Not fair!" -runs after him-

The two of them didn't even notice the boys run by.
Sabrina: "I'm stuck here just as much as you!"
Apollo: "You freaking murdered your family! You deserve this!"
Sabrina: "Yeah, well, I'm sorry, but May's not hearing it!"
Apollo: "I'm sorry too, and I didn't even do anything that bad!"
Sabrina: "So we're both miserable. Matter as well make the best of it, if you know what I mean."
Apollo: "No, I am not going to make the best of it, alright? If anything this punishment is way worse on me than you. I actually have people waiting on me!"
Sabrina: "I'm stuck with you, what could be worse?"
Apollo: "At least you're stuck with somebody attractive!"
Sabrina: "Are you calling me ugly?"

-later-
Sabrina: "Hah, I win! May was wrong!"
Apollo: "I let you win!"
Sabrina: "Yeah right!"
Apollo: "I could kill you with my bare hands, magic or not. I'm just not a murder, like you!"
Sabrina: "Shut up!"
Apollo: "Alright, I will!"

And yeah. There we go. I might make another one soon. I don't have much to do tonight.

TDL- 7.11

The Divine Legacy- 7.11

Morning, Justin. That's how I felt at 8:00 this morning, except I didn't have the courage to get out of bed. Or the energy. I salute you, young Divine.

Yo, Bryan, I know she's in a complicated relationship, and I know the words are 'till death do you part' but seriously, go flirt with your wife or something! Bryan, you're an old, dead man! I don't think she's interested!
Sabrina: "What if I am?"
Simaya: Excuse me, but I don't approve.
Sabrina: "You're no fun!"
Bryan: "Sorry mom, I'll go home." v_v
Simaya: Good, good.

Justin: "Dad, how do I make friends?"
Apollo: "Why are you asking me? Ask Sabrina."
Justin: "She told me to ask you."
Apollo: "Don't worry, I have no friends either."
Justin: "What about mom?"
Apollo: "We're not friends."
Justin: "Because you're married."
Apollo: "No, we're just flat-out not friends."
Justin: "Ohh...."

When the school bus came, Justin reluctantly climbed aboard. Once he got to school, he found that the one person he'd met had grown up into a teenager and decided to spend the next hour hiding in the bathroom.
Simaya: If it were up to me I'd let you go.
Justin: "Who are you?"
Simaya: I am your great great great great great grandmother.
Justin: "That's a lot of greats."
Simaya: I know, it makes me feel old. Now get to class.
Justin: "But I have no friends!"
Simaya: The only friends you're going to make in the bathroom is the toilets.
Justin: -sighs and goes to class-

At the house, Derrick was finally potty trained. That's all of his skills. He grows up in a few days.

Apollo was making daily trips to the beach against May's wishes.
Simaya: Go home already!
Apollo: "I can't 'go home', May! I can't go home for a looooooooooooooong time!"
Simaya: That's not what I meant.
Apollo: "You want me to go back to the house you've imprisoned me in, then?"
Simaya: You'll enjoy it a lot more if you stop thinking of it like a prison.
Apollo: "I'd rather not be in denial, but thanks for the offer."

Meanwhile, at the prison, as Apollo would say, Sabrina and Derrick were reading.
Sabrina: "and the ladybug crawled up the stem..."
Derrick: -touching pictures-
He hasn't spoken since he learned to talk. Sabrina was hoping he'd have some comments on the book, but all he did was point and touch.

Once they finished that book, Sabrina went downstairs to find that Justin had gotten home. She sat down next to him.
Sabrina: "Did you make any friends?"
Justin: "No. I don't think school's a good idea."
Sabrina: "Why?"
Justin: "Because the only friends I can make are toilets."
Sabrina: "What?"
Justin: "I hide in the bathroom."
Sabrina: "Is it really that bad?"
Justin: "Yeah, but whatever. Hey, do you know the answer to this?"
Sabrina: "Uhhhhhh... ask your dad."

OH MY SIMAYA TODDLERS CAN READ ON THEIR OWN?!?!!?!? -dies-
What's that, the fifth time I've died due to the Divinity? Clearly this legacy is bad for my health.
But seriously, that's adorable.

And that's all. My outros are getting lamer and lamer. Pffft.

TDL- 7.10

The Divine Legacy- 7.10

I seem to be out of it. I forgot to take a introduction wake up picture. Oh well. Welcome to the Divine Legacy. Apollo finally decided to socialize is currently teaching Derrick how to walk. He finished! Woo! Two more toddler skills to go! I have three days, this should go well.

Once that was done, Apollo left and Sabrina went right in on talking.
Simaya: You're really starting to lose that evilness, aren't you?
Sabrina: "Shut up."
Simaya: Hey, that's a good thing!
Sabrina: "Not to me!"
Simaya: Whatever, just keep trying to teach that child to talk.
Unfortunately Derrick kept his mouth closed and his eyes wandering.

Meanwhile, Apollo was at the beach. It reminded him of home
Simaya: You should really go back, Apollo.
Apollo: -shakes head-
Simaya: Moping around here won't change anything.
Apollo: "Maybe the ghosts will leave the stove on again, start a fire, and I won't be there to stop it this time."
Simaya: What a terrible thought!
Apollo: "At least I'll get to go home."
Simaya: I'm the one who decides if you go home or not!
Apollo: -sighs and heads back-

Meanwhile, Justin was climbing onto a schoolbus. All the kids sat in the back. Weird. He took a seat at the front and stared at the busdriver.
Busdriver: "Anyone else, kiddo?"
Justin: "Nope, just me. It's my first day of school."
Busdriver: "-smiles- "Well, good luck, kid."
Then the bus started to move. Justin held his breath. You must remember this is also the first time a Divine's been inside a moving vehicle.

Sabrina: "Please, say something!"
Derrick: "Something?"
Sabrina: -squeals- "OH MY SIMAYA, YOU DID IT! YOU FINALLY TALKED!"
Apollo: "What?"
Sabrina: "DERRICK JUST SAID HIS FIRST WORD!!!!"
Apollo: "Oh, I see."
Sabrina: -gets up and happy dances-
Derrick: "Weirdo."

Just around that time Justin got home.
Sabrina: "How was it?"
Justin: "I don't know."
Sabrina: "Oh...?"
Justin: "There were a ton of people there, but only one person talked to me, and I think I creeped her out."
Sabrina: "Oh."
Justin: "Yeah, can I stay home tomorrow?"
Sabrina: "Nope."
Justin: "Why are you so mean?"
Sabrina: "Evil, actually, but mean's close."

Well, some potty training happened. He's still not there, but soon. He'll grow up just fine.

And that's all.
