TDL- 7.21

The Divine Legacy- 7.21

Derrick, what happened last night?

Derrick: "What?"

Never mind. Let's get you to a mirror.

I'm not quite sure where his old hair went, so this will have to work.

Derrick: "This one is so much less cool."

I know, right?

Well, it's a Saturday in the Divine shack. Things are going well. I've got a three day weekend, so expect lots of these.

I have Sabrina practicing convincing her assassins to kill important people.

Sabrina: "I'll make you cookies!"

What? Girl, you've softened.

Sabrina: "POISON COOKIES!"

Oh. That's just wrong. You are evil.

The boys went to the park.

Justin: "I'll be picking up girls, you just stay out of the way.

Derrick: "What if I want to pick up girls."

Justin: "Pfft. They'll all be too distracted by my good looks. You're the smart one. You won't be attractive until you're rich and own a software company or something."

Derrick: "We'll see."

KEEP WALKING, JUSTIN!

Justin: "Why? this one's hot."

She's a full blown adult!

Justin: "Ohhhh....."

So much for 'we'll see'.

Derrick: "It's a romance book."

Oh. So you have to study?

Derrick: "Yes, but what do you know about love?"

Nothing, you're probably on a better track than I am.

Justin! That's also an adult!

Justin: "Do you know where all the teenage girls hang out?"

Lady: "Nope!"
Justin: "I'll try the library. Maybe they'll be studying."

Uh.. bad idea. Shelby and Apollo just walked in. Run, Justin, run!

Justin: "Hello, hopefully teenage girl.:

JUSTIN THAT'S SHELBY! GET OUT OF THE LIBRARY!

Shelby: "Hello."

JUSTIN!

Justin: "Gotta run! Bye! Tell Apollo to die in a hole!"

Shelby: -frowns- "That was probably Justin, right."

Right!

Didn't you just talk to that lady?

Justin: "She followed me here."

O_o

Finally! A teenager! I found one! I found one! Her name is Margie, I believe. Justin's a tall person.

LET THE FLIRTING COMMENCE!

Margie: "You just have the sexiest chin in town!"

Justin: "That forehead you've got is stunning!"

Oh dear.

Look who gave up on love!

Derrick: "Move, you're getting between me and the romance channel."

Oh. Not giving up yet?

Derrick: "Learning from the best, actually."

I wouldn't bother. The way heir vote's going, you're never going to fall in love.

Derrick: "I could be your next Bryan."

I don't love you that much.

Derrick: "Gee, thanks."

REJECTION!

Justin: "I just want to kiss you!"

Margie: "Nope, no kisses. When's the last time you brushed?"

Justin: "Brushed?"

Margie: "Your teeth..?"

Justin: "Uh.... I don't think I ever have."

Margie: "Eww, you're gross!"

Justin rode home with a broken heart.

Justin: "I even offered to brush my teeth for her, every day. I would've. Why don't any of the girls like me?"

They're townies and townies are idiots.

Justin: "Yeah. Townies are idiots."

Plus, you're really a downgrade from the pas Divines.

Justin: "Excuse me?"

Yeah, I mean, for heaven's sake, look at Beckett! He was the real deal!

Infact, all of the brotherhood was the real deal! What happened?

Justin: "My father?"

Apollo wasn't bad, though. Hmm.

Justin: "Just give me a really hot wife and we'll fix the genepool.

Hopefully.

Look who came over! Creepy adult woman!

Justin: "What do you want?"

Lady: "Your undying love."

Justin: "No."

Lady: "Come on, I know I'm too old for you, but I will wait!"

Justin: "I'm really not interested in older women."

Lady: "I'll be however old you want me to be."

Justin: "Can you be whatever age you are somewhere else? Far away from my house?"

Lady: "No! I love you!"

Justin: "Don't make me get my mother. She's evil, you know."

Lady: "Evil? Gotta run!" -leaves-

That's all, I guess. Dang.

Divine Names?

Instead of having to dig through posts on the sims 3 site, blog comments, and wherever else somebody might have suggested a name, I decided to make a post.

Please suggest names for Divines here. You may suggest as many as you like: the more the merrier.

If I do use a name you suggested I will credit you. I don't want any names I've already used, other than that, suggest anything.

I'll make this post known at the end of generations/at the beginning of generations. You can suggest names whenever, though.

The Divine Legacy- 7.20

Forgive me for my forgetfulness. I went upstairs to do something and forgot the Divines were loading. At least they didn't get very far!

There goes Sabrina, off to work.

Sabrina: "Goodbye, my children!"

And now Derrick's growing up. Joy.

Derrick: "That ghost man is very excited for me."

That's Josh. He is your... uhm..

Ani's brother, Beckett's uncle, Belle's great uncle, Zack's great great uncle, Sabrina's great great great uncle...

Your great great great great uncle.

Derrick: "Jeez."

You Divines make me feel old.

And there's Derrick. He kind of reminds me of Zack a little. He got the workaholic trait.

Derrick: "So, since we're not going to school, what are we going to do?"

Justin: "Well, I was hoping we could go to town. I'm going a little stir crazy."

Derrick: "Awesome!"

First place they went was the gym. It's been too long since we've had a ripped heir, and that was Beckett. They reached level two. It's friday in game, so they can work out over the weekend. The Divines need to reach their full attractiveness again. I went to start on heir spouse and she was way too pretty for either of these boys. So either I dull her down or I tough them up. I think the answer's obvious.

Meanwhile, Sabrina dropped something off at the hospital for work, then decided to read outside.

After showering, the Divine boys went to tour the science place because... science!

Finally, they went to dinner at the fast food place. Derrick spent most of the time watching Justin invade tables full of girls their age, only to be shoved away and called a freak.

Justin: "Inside, they're falling all over me."

Derrick: "It doesn't look that way."

When they got home it was 9-ish and Sabrina was sitting on the couch.

Sabrina: "You guys ditched school?"

Derrick: "Technically I didn't have school."

Justin: "Don't worry about it, Mom. Derrick's the smart one. That leave me to be the fun one."

Sabrina: -sighs- "Just don't do it again."

Justin: "Yeah mom."

I don't know why, but Justin decided to run off. The cops were on him right away. That house behind him? I'm pretty sure it's two houses down from the Divine shack. They were waiting.

And now he's back at home. That was a short drive.

Justin: "I'm tired. I was sleepwalking."

Sleeprunning, you mean.

Justin: "See, I'm just that tired."

Sabrina: "Why did you run off?"

Justin: "I dunno."

Sabrina: "You're driving me insane today."

Justin: "Sorry, I guess I'm a little off."

Sabrina: "Just go to bed."

Justin: "Yes, Mom." -goes to room-

Sabrina: "That went better than I expected."

Indeed. Something is up here.

Sabrina: "Indeed."

Whatever was up, Sabrina didn't investigate and went right to bed. This is it, for now.

The Divine Legacy- 7.19

I love you guys. How much do I love you guys? I made a Divine tonight, and I plan to make a second one right afterwards. It's hard to type with this sling. My arm is itchy.

I think I'm just going to delete this man. He's in the way and is really annoying. This house has too many people as it is, even without Apollo!

I delete him and he drives back, walks up to the porch, says 'Hey, no fire!' and leaves.

You idiot of a man.

There goes Sabrina. Do you trust your sons to be home alone.

Sabrina: "No, not really."

Me neither, that's why I'm staying.

Look who didn't do their homework.

Justin: "Mom decided to talk to us, I had to put it away."

Derrick: "I forgot." -mutters-

What was that?

Derrick: "Nothing."

Well, they went to school, and I found myself in a scary position.

I couldn't see any Divines.

No Divines.

At all.

It was frightening.

After school, the boys left me again for the rabbitholes. Justin went to work at the office place and Derrick researched a store.

At least I have Sabrina!

Sabrina: "Glad to hear somebody loves me."

I don't love you. You burned the food.

Sabrina: "Dangit, you distracted me!"

Derrick sat down and did his homework outside the store.

There's a bench right there, why don't you use it.

Derrick: "I'd have to get up..."

Okay?

Zombie: "AHHHHH"

Justin: "Dude, chill."

Zombie: "BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAINS!"

He's got none, dude, move on.

Justin: "Yeah, listen to her. I've got no brains."

Zombie: -confused-

Justin was the last one home. He sat down and started on his homework.

Derrick: "Do you know where Dad lives?"

Justin: "No, why?"

Derrick: "Tomorrow's my birthday and I want to see him."

Justin: "You're weird, kid. How about I ditch tomorrow and you just hang out with me."

Derrick: "You'd ditch for me?"

Sabrina: "You're not ditching."

Justin: "Yeah... but I guess I can't now...." -obvious wink-

Sabrina: -reading and doesn't notice-

Derrick: "Oh well, what would we do if you were to ditch?"

Justin: "I don't know, we'll... I mean we'd... think of something."

I say that's a plan. Good thing Sabrina was only half listening.

Simaya: This is why they needed Apollo.

Speaking of the devil... or ex-angel and his wife... I found their house. I must say, it's quite an upgrade. I wonder how they were able to afford this.

That's it... for a few hours. I'll be working on another one.

TDL- 7.18

The Divine Legacy- 7.18

It was a slow morning at the Divine house. Both boys had gone to bed knowing that their dad wasn't home, but not knowing why. Of course, they both had their guesses.

Despite Apollo not being there and Sabrina not answering their questions, the boys went to school. Justin, as usual, wasn't focused, focusing on secretly passing notes to girls that said "Do you like me" with a place to check yes and a place to check no. He didn't really think about it too much.

Derrick, on the other hand, couldn't focus at all. He always paid attention, but today his mind was somewhere else. He'd heard things, he'd seen things, but where was his dad?

Sabrina: "I'm taking the day off."

But you need money!

Sabrina: "I also need to figure out why May wants me to go to the hospital."

May wants you to go to the hospital.

Sabrina: "Yes, she says it's the easiest way."

The easiest way?

Sabrina: "You probably have a better idea of what that means that I do."

So Sabrina went to the hospital and Apollo was standing outside. As soon as she got out of the taxi, he approached her.

Apollo: "This is all your fault!"

Sabrina: "What?"

Apollo: "Yes, your fault. If you'd never upset May then I would've never been sent her and Shelby would be okay."

Sabrina: "Shelby's your other wife, right?"

Apollo: "Yeah... May disowned her."

Sabrina: "Wait... May disowned you too!"

Apollo: "It's not obvious?"

Sabrina: "Now it is!" -smiles- "The wings change a lot, you know."

Apollo: "Forget the wings! Sabrina, I'm not doing this anymore."

Sabrina: "Doing what...?"

Apollo: "May's freaking legacy. As soon as Shelby's okay, I'm leaving and I'm never coming back."

Sabrina: "What..."!

Apollo: "I'm done! Okay? May no longer owns me. I'm free to leave you, and that's what I'm doing."

Sabrina: "What about Justin and Derrick?"

Apollo: "I'm done with them too. It's not like they liked me much anyway."

Sabrina: "So you're just gonna leave?"

Apollo: "Yes. Tell them whatever you want, I don't care."

Sabrina: -grinds teeth- "You know what?"

Apollo: "What?"

Sabrina: "I hope Shelby dies."

Apollo opened his mouth to respond, but then heard a familiar voice behind him.

Shelby: "Apollo?"

Sabrina glared past Apollo and at her. What did she have that she didn't. She looked like an alien. Why did Apollo like her more than Sabrina?

Sabrina turned and walked away as the two of them embraced. He'd already forgotten all about her. Holding back tears, she called a taxi and rode home. The boys would be out of school by now.
